MILK BOILER: WEMBLEY WARE, CERAMIC

White clear glazed white ceramic milk boiler. The item is a small circular disc with sloping sides and with a single hole on one side. There is a spiral groove on the bottom from the outside to the centre. On the top there are three firing stand marks and the Wembley Ware trademark sign of a crown with the words 'Wembley - Quality Ware - ' in a circle beneath it. Also it states "MILK BOILER / THIS SIDE UP"
Base: There is also written in black marker "1-00" - presumably this means that it was for sale for $1. It was placed in a saucepan when heating milk and the bubbles collected and ran around the spiral groove and prevented the milk from boiling over.
