Small black hard spectacles case with black "snakeskin" type outer material, and dark blue velvet lining. Silver label on centre of 'lid' reads: 'Mr. B The Optician Pty Ltd (illegible number) Murray St Perth W.A.'
Mr B the Optician was in the City, next to Commonwealth Bank in Murray Street. Mrs Hardie (donor's mother) knew Keith Smith of Wembley, who always dispensed the spectacles for Mrs Hardie. They were very small.
