Overview

B/W Print.(a) From the east the main entrance of the Claremont Council Chambers, with a rose bed in front. The name [CLAREMONT/MUNICIPAL CHAMBERS] in raised wrought iron lettering is above the central entrance which has a wrought iron light fitting on either side. A flag pole is attached to the pillars on either side and a central clock above. On the left pillar below the flag pole is the stone that was laid when the building was refurbished in 1935. A large Norfolk Island pine is on the right of the building.

Situated on the corner of Claremont Avenue (now Stirling Hwy) and Bay View Terrace.
