Mr & Mrs J.C. Warren met Sir Francis and Lady Newdegate at the Badgebup train stop and escorted them to St. Peter's Church in Badgebup.

Mr and Mrs J.C. Warren built the St Peters Church at Badgebup as a memorial to their son J.C.D. Warren who was killed in the First World War.
