At ' Summerfield' the home of Gustav and Matilda Beeck, about 1910, prior to the Stehn Family's departure for Queensland. Back Row:- Lena, Fred Stehn with Horace Stehn, Amanda, Vera, Ryan Kowald, Arthur, Lionel Stehn, Alma Stehn, Edwin, Gustav with Gladys Quartermaine, David Quartermaine, Matilda Beeck, Bertha Kowald with Victor Kowald, Con and Martin Kowald, Oscar and Rhonda. Gladys Quartermaine died of rheumatic fever aged 6, Amanda died at 19 of the same disease.
