Overview

Intricate hand stitched needlelace tray cloth, emulating the traditional Greek needlelace, was purchased in Aherns department store in Perth in 1990s, possibly made in China.

The central flower is surrounded with a reseau of little buttonhole wheels. Beyond this a scrolling floral design with a hexagonal reseau worked in buttonhole stitch. Dainty scalloped edge with needlelace fillings.
