A sepia photograph of a woman sitting with a young child on her lap and a man standing next to her with his hands on his hips. The woman is dressed in a long skirt and long sleeved blouse which has buttons down the front and a collar. The man is dressed in a suit, jacket vest, shirt and bowtie and there is a watchchain attached to his vest. The child is wearing a long full dress and is wearing shoes. The photograph is mounted on grey cardboard.

Historical information

Alice Haddleton married Fred Cleverly in 1894. Alice May Victoria Cleverly was born in 1898. Items 2025.14 to 2025.21 were wrapped in item 2025.22

Below the photograph in the left hand corner in dark lettering is "The Hart Co" and on the right "478 HAY STREET, PERTH."

On the back of the photograph handwritten in pencil is "Uncle Fred Cleverly Auntie Alice & May Katanning". Below this writing handwritten in pencil is "Alice believed to be nee Haddleton Photo c1900".
