Mundaring Weir
c. 1907A hand painted coloured postcard of water spilling over a weir.
This postcard was in an envelope titled "To Mertle Lee Lucie Gray's Mother", it is handwritten and in blue ink.

Details
On the back of the postcard printed in brown lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with a heading for the right hand column of “FOR CORRESPONDENCE ONLY." and above the right hand column is "THE ADDRESS ONLY TO BE WRITTEN HERE".
Over the right hand column is a black circular stamp and in the centre is "NOV 2 ? 1907". In the top right hand corner is a red stamp which a swan in the centre, at the top of the stamp in red lettering is "WESTERN AUSTRALIA" and at the bottom is "POSTAGE ONE PENNY".
Handwritten in black ink in the left column is "Hope you will like this postcard. We would be very Pleased to exchange with you. Have you many W.A. views? Hoe you are well. Kind regards. F. Challenger".
Handwritten in black ink in the right column is "Miss M. Lee C/o Ford St Gawler South S. Aus".
