Head of a hammer with the raised letters PP at one face, handle missing.
Historical information
It is quite likely that this hammer was used to establish ownership of piles of sandalwood, following dissension amongst settlers during 1847 over sandalwood rights sandalwood was marked on butt ends with a brand hammer
