MEDIUM
This complete water dispenser was used on a poultry farm located on the corner of Champion Drive and Railway Avenue in the early to mid-1900s. The poultry farm had closed down when the Beales family purchased the property in 1956. The dish would have been purchased from a poultry supplier as its a mass produced design.
The dish represents the variety of agricultural industries active in the district in the early 1900 to mid-1900s. These industries were pushed out as suburbia started to spread in mid 1900s from town centres like Armadale.
