Overview

This size 18 yellow polyester/cotton sweatshirt has the white, black, yellow and green logo of the ABF (Australian Baseball Federation) transfer-printed on the front. Above the logo, in a green arching band edged with black, are the words 'Australian Baseball'. Below the logo in an inverted arching green band edged with black are the words '1988 Olympic Demo Games'. The yellow cuffs, waistband and neckband are elasticised.

Historical information

At the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games baseball was a demonstration sport or exhibition sport, which was played to promote it, rather than as part of standard medal competition. This sweatshirt was part of the Australian baseball team's uniform and belonged to team member Greg Harvey.
