The wide neckline is bordered with lace and the front edge decorated with ribbon bows, lace and a cameo brooch. The tightly fitting sleeves are of lace. She is wearing a bracelet and rings and the ribbon and fringing around her neck has a decorative pin. The front of her hair is crimped; the back appears to be in a smooth chignon with flowers.

Historical information

Mabel Urch of Kalamunda, married James Thomas Peet on December 30th, 1896.

The couple had children: Percy Thomas (b. 1906), Cyril Ernest (b.1904), Eric Richard Chevin (b. 1898), Doris Mable (1901-1902), Violet Ethel (b.1899) and Lillie (b.1908).
