The Adult Migrant English Project (AMEP) was established in 1948 to provide English language training to recent arrivals to assist with their settlement in Australia. AMEP has been located at 145 Jull St, Armadale, since 2009, but moved into 25 Church Ave, Armadale, on 15/07/2024. This material is part of the reading laboratory used in lessons in English provided by AMEP to newly arrived immigrants.
The AMEP is a free service designed to help migrants improve their English skills. It is funded by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs.
