POSTCARD: WAR MEMORIAL CLOCK TOWER IN SUBIACO MUNICIPAL GARDENS

Overview

Picture is of the Subiaco War Memorial clock tower. The clock tower has a pointed roof. The body of the tower is made out of dark bricks with light brick on the corner/edge of the tower body. The clock section of the tower has an analogue clock. There are two vents one on either side of the clock face. In the middle of the tower body is a rectangle window. At the base of the tower is a soor (stone?). In front of the clock tower is a metal fence with two men in uniform standing by the gate. In front of the fence is a barricade. There is a path leading up to the tower with grass and bushes on both sides.

Reverse: Along the top in capital letters is 'POSTCARD/CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS ONLY'. In the top right corner is a square made up of the words 'KODAK' and 'AUSTRAL'. In blue pen on the left side is 'NONMYS FAMILY/BETTY DIX'. On the right side is 'Nov 1923/Subiaco War Memorial/cnr Rokeby and Hamersley Roads'. In the bottom right corner in black pen and upside down is '25-11-23'.
