1922This hand crocheted bag was made by mother of Guild Member when living in Geraldton, Western Australia in 1920s. Hand crafts by the lady of the house, were popular in the mid 20th century with women’s magazines offering a wide range of patterns and designs.
This round bag in attractive cream coloured silky yarn, with silk lining, has a Bakelite frame, twist knob clasp and Bakelite chain handle.
