Overview

This delightful handmade macrame evening bag, was created by Guild member in 1973 in Perth, WA.

Macrame was a handcraft popular only for a short time in the 1970s.

Made of pearly plastic string which was tied to form bead-like knots emulating pearls.

The silvery metal frame has a pearlized plastic bar on the front, pair of silver knobs clasp and silver chain handle. Inside is lined with cream silk fabric and has a pocket.
