Historical information

Left on wall of property (8 Fiennes Street, Toodyay) after it was sold in June 2015.
New owner, Lawrence Tan, donated this painting along with another (Shire of Toodyay accession number 2015.5) also left to museum.
Property dates from the nineteenth century and is known as 'Fred Green's Cottage' on the Shire of Toodyay's Municipal Inventory.
The painting was possibly completed prior to the Old Gaol Museum wooden sign being installed on or after 1979.
