Overview
Most unusual to acquire a decorative pillow case in Bruges bobbin lace.
The pillow case has a central panel of motifs of Bruges lace - bold circular flowers, large leaves and clover leaves.
Elements joined with plaited brides. The design, repeated each half.
The lace is in poor condition. Sections have been backed with cotton net.
Panel is edged with machine made lace 50 mm wide with floral design, similar to the Bruges motifs.
The back of the pillow case in cotton net with opening closed with 3 small pearl buttons.
