On the back of the postcard printed in black lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with headings "CORRESPONDENCE" and "ADDRESS ONLY" and in the top right hand corner a square with the words "KODAK" at the top and bottom and the words “AUSTRAL” on the sides. This square marks the position to put a stamp.
On the back of the postcard handwritten in blue ink is "Car & Horse Drawn Cart Collide in front of Cass's Drapery - Clive St East. Note tree corner Clive/Daping St - 3 men in foreground - Jack Wanke - Joe Berger - BertCharlton - (My Wife's uncle) Milk Cart - Causer's Diary":
On the back of the postcard stamped in purple ink is "A.&J. COATE 21 South Coast Hwy. ALBANY W.A. 6330".
