White paper remnants and stains are evident on the front and back of the license. Paper sheets are glued to the inside pages; these sheets are printed with black ink with additional hand-writing added in blue ink. The paper sheet is tattered on the right of the cover. Page one has the text: [No.30136] printed top centre and page two has the text: [No.59974] printed similarly.Stamped diagonally across both pages in red are the words: [Not Transferable].
Motor Driver's Licence issued to James Alexander Anderson of Kelmscott in 1925, allowing him to drive a motor wagon and a lorry.

An example of an official driver's licence document c.1920, issued to James Alexander of Kelmscott. James was a truck driver. The license represents the replacement of horse and cart with motor vehicles that occurred in the early 1900s. From the early 1900s local farmers and horticulturists started to purchase trucks as a means to transport their goods.
