There is a metal sign on the fence which reads “RAILWAY'S TENNIS CLUB” and underneath is “Ladies Wed 1:30pm” and underneath that is “ALL PLAYERS SUNDAY 1:30PM”
In the bottom right hand corner in red lettering is "23 4'02".
On the 25th August 1937 the Railway Tennis Club was given permission by the Katanning Road Board to erect a pavilion, in October that same year the Katanning Railway Club asked for trees adjacent to courts in Austral Terrace be lopped.
