Note from Frederike Waldeck

William Wagner (or Wegener) (1812-82) was an educated man with a record of uttering forged cheques. He was sent to Western Australia in 1861 (no.5611) and found work as a school teacher. By the time this letter was written he was tutoring the children of fellow Germans, Frederick and Fredericke Waldeck at Greenough.

"Dear Mr Trew
You would greatly obliged me. If you have time, to look over our Mill account and let me know by Mr Wagener what is owing to us, or what there is -e---ing for us to draw out Flower, Bran or Polled by doing so I shall be able to make my self easy in my mind. I am sorry to give you so much trouble but you know female mind is never at rest hoping you are well with best wishes your Frederieke Waldeck"
