Historical information

Francis Ventura (1834-1927) arrived per "Ferrolana" 30/12/1849 with the Benedictines. He left New Norcia and moved to Greenough where he married Catherine Sheehy in 1862. Farmer at Greenough.
Isaac Cresswell (1826-80) had numerous convictions for theft and was sent to Western Australia in 1863 (no.7376).
