Overview

An ornate silver plated teaspoon with a decorated handle culminating in a circular plastic design showing the City of Armadale coat of arms, which consists of a shield divided into three sections.
The top section shows the Narrogin Inn, the left shows a vineyard, and the right the Nerrigen Brook. Around the circumference is a belt with a buckle and text; [CITY OF ARMADALE].
On the back is the maker's name.

Historical information

Souvenir spoon produced to commemorate the Town of Armadale becoming the City of Armadale in 1985. The renaming of the local government from a town to a city was to acknowledge the growth of the local government area and its position as a key centre within the large south east metropolitan region.
