Statement of significance

This collection of objects represents how the City of Armadale and its residents are both perceived by those outside of the City and from within. The City, particularly since it started to urbanise in the 1960s has gain a reputation as being a place where unsavoury activities occur and a place most people come from low social economic backgrounds.
