PHOTOGRAPH: MRS M.E. SIMS AND ATTENDANTS - WEDDING PHOTOGRAPH

Overview

The image features Mrs M.E. Sims with her attendants on her wedding day. The bride wore a Chantilly lace wedding dress with Hungarian folk-style headdress and floral embroidered veil plus a long train and carried a huge bouquet of roses. Her bridesmaids wore long dresses with contrasting colour insets at the neckline and hemline (pleated and ruffled). They carry mixed floral bouquets and wear soft-brim hats and elbow length gloves. Written on the back are the names of the attendants: L-r - Muriel David, Peggy Waddell and Edith Cobb.
