PHOTOGRAPH: HOUSE AT 430 BARKER ROAD, SUBIACO
1980Photograph of the front of house at 430 Barker Road, Subiaco. The caption on the reverse states: 'Steven Cockbain' (written in pencil) 'Blessing our new house (I think), 430 Barker Rd, Subi 1980'. The white brick house has a tin roof with a tiled roofed verandah. The front room, left, has a gable with some decorative timber work, and two long windows and the front verandah is recessed. The verandah has turned posts and is enclosed with rails across the front. There are several shrubs in a flower bed in front of the verandah. A young boy wearing jeans and a white t-shirt is standing on a brick platform near the front steps with his arms outspread, and another male is sitting near the front door. The brick front fence is in a poor state of repair. Portion of a car, Reg. 6CM-653, is visible left and a trailer under a car port, also left.
