There is writing on the back of first two (2) cards with two (2) One Penny postage stamps postmarked ‘Albany 16 February 1916’ 'on the first.

a. On front "ALBANY, W.A." with addressed "To Mrs C. Chippendale / 129 Church Road / Mitcham / Surrey / England / From Clarence" written on back and features two (2) "AUSTRALIA / POSTAGE / ONE PENNY STAMPS" and postmarked “ALBANY 16 DEC 16” on back.
b. On front "MIDDLETON BEACH, ALBANY, W.A." with "CORRESPONDENCE. / Date 15th 1916 / Dear Mother / Just a few lines hope you are / quite well as this leaves me the same. / Are now doing my bit for my country / Are on His Majesty Troopship No 44 / Cannot write much on account of / the census." written on back in black ink.
c. On front "KING RIVER, ALBANY, W.A." and blank on back.
d. On front "DOG ROCK, ALBANY, W.A." and blank on back.
e. On front "STIRLING TERRACE, ALBANY, W.A." and blank on back.
