Overview

Slightly convex, gilt brass and enamel badge relating to the Australian Red Cross, Tasmanian Division.
It has three bars attached by metal rings and loops to the top. The first is gilt metal and is engraved with 'Secretary', the second is also gilt metal and engraved with 'Lady Supt.'(Lady Superintendent), while the third is of blue enamel with gold border and lettering, reading 'V.A.D.' (Voluntary Aid Detachment).
On the reverse, there is a pin and clasp for attachment on the top bar and the maker's name on the bottom of the medallion.
