EWEN MACKINTOSH PORTRAIT
B & W Print Studio portrait of Mr. Mackintosh, who has a serious expression, short beard looking slightly to the left - sitting in an armchair.
He is formally dressed in long jacket, waistcoat, collar and bow tie and lighter coloured trousers that probably match the waistcoat.
A cropped head section of this photo is published on p. 54 of Rica Erickson's book, ' Old Toodyay and Newcastle'.
Ewen Mackintosh was a cousin to the Macpherson brothers and became a shepherd for the Drummonds. He came to Western Australia in 1841.
