This photograph of the Western Australian Brewers baseball squad was taken in November 1984 at Parry Field, Perth. They were the winners of the 1985 Claxton Shield in the1984/85 Australian Baseball Championship Series. The team members were:

The 1984/85 Claxton Shield Championship Series was won by Western Australia. Team member Tony Stall was a recipient of the Helms Award (Ron Sharpe Medal), awarded each year to the most outstanding player of the Claxton Shield Competition.

The photographed was donated to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives by the Brewers' Executive Officer Paul Tye.
