Wedding photograph of Isabella Brand and Henry Fletcher Waldeck at the reception held at Balmoral Farm, Greenough, on 5 December 1867.
Isabella Brand (1843-1905) was the daughter of George & Isabella Brand. George Brand was a former convict who went on to become a successful farmer at Balmoral Farm, Greenough, and paid for his wife and children to migrate from Scotland.
Henry Fletcher Waldeck (1843-1883) was the second son of Frederick & Fredericke Waldeck (the first German migrants to WA) and farmed at Greenough and then at Irwin.

On reverse in pencil "Lent by Miss G. Morrell, Ironbarks, Greenough" in ink "Wedding at Greenough" in biro "G. Morrell Greenough".
This is the oldest exterior photograph of Greenough in this collection. It is not known who the photographer was.
