Photograph of men in a bush camp
c. 1930Black and white photograph of five men seated around a table in a bush camp
The Greenough River Mouth was a popular camping spot over the long hot summer months for the residents of Greenough and further inland. Semi-permanent structures were built to accommodate those families.
Seated around the table of B. Barnhart's camp are Lance Howard, Cecil Maley (at the rear) and 3 unidentified men.

Nothing remains of those semi-permanent structures at the Greenough River Mouth, so this photograph is an important reference to a much-changed life-style.
