Catherine Gale Bridgeman (1844-1905) was the daughter of Joseph Bridgman (or Bridgeman) and Catherine nee Baggs. She came with her parents to Western Australia in 1859. Joseph Bridgeman took up land at Greenough.
She was first married to Daniel Baughan in Greenough in 1863,then to Richard Scrivener in 1867 then to William Cowling in 1913.

Written on reverse is:- Mrs Gail(?) Bullen, wife of Mr R.N. Bullen. One time owner of the Albion Hotel 1882 (Cottesloe). Mrs Bullen was a daughter of Mr & Mrs Bridgeman of Greenough. Grannie Smith.
Also a note saying:- This name is in back of photo I do not think it is correct. Mrs Bullen was Alice Bridgeman. Gail was Catherine Gail (Mrs Scrivener). Do you know which is correct.
