Overview

Gilt brass, double-sided medallion struck to celebrate the visit to Australia of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales in 1920. In the centre is a depiction of the bust of the prince on a slightly oblique angle. On either side of him are heraldic fleur-de-lis symbols.
On the reverse side, there is a scroll and wreath of leaves at the bottom, above which are the words 'Struck to commemorate thre visit of HRH The Prince of Wales to Australia 1920'.
There is an attached loop at the top of the medallion with a metal pin through which a red, white and blue ribbon is attached - the colours of the Empire.
