1908 AMERICAN FLEET, SOUVENIR SILVER SPOONS
Three silver-plated spoons featuring images of US Naval Ships. The battleships Alabama, Connecticut and Kentucky are in the bowls of the spoons. The spoons have decoratively embossed stems. On the obverse at the top of the stem is an American Eagle between crossed US flags with the outline of the continental US below. Below this is the embossed bust of President Roosevelt. The words AMERICAN FLEET are embossed vertically on the narrow half of the stem. On the reverse of the stem are the embossed busts of Rear Admiral Evans and Admiral Dewey.
