1990Bobbin lace created by former W.A. Guild President, Kay MacFarlane, a creative lady, a beautiful embroiderer and patchworker. These lace pieces, showcase the extent of Kay’s creative handcraft abilities in second half of 20th C.
a. 85 x 45 mm open bobbin lace design
b. 95 x 45 mm open bobbin lace design with double wings
c. 45 x 30 mm small butterfly with cloth stitch wings in three loops.
d. 70 x 60 mm medium butterfly with cloth stitch wings edged with open holes in three of the 4 loops
e. 80 x 45 mm medium butterfly with cloth stitch wings with four elongated loops
f. 100 x 80 mm large butterfly with cloth stitch wings and large open wings with connecting brides
