FLOOD OF AVON RIVER AT TOODYAY IN 1942
1942A black and white photo of a large expanse of flood water, probably taken with Mt Taylor in the distance.
Tree tops are seen in the distance and one close by some dry land to the lower edge of photo. Possibly Mt Anderson on the left of the photo.
On 15 or 17 March 1942, a violent storm over the Nunile and Culham areas caused the Boyagerring Brook to flood.
The photo shows some water coming into the main stream on the right, which may be the confluence of the Boyagerring Brook.
