FLOOD OF AVON RIVER AT TOODYAY IN 1952
1952A black and white photo of a very flooded old Toodyay Bridge. Just the tops of the pedestrian section railing on the right-hand side of the bridge can be seen, some of a picket fence is to the left of a light pole and tree tops to the right.
Buildings can be seen on both sides of the road on the far bank, which sweeps off to the right.
The photo may have been taken from the town side. Large trees in central foreground have most of their main trunks submerged.
Electric power poles are seen on the left side of the bridge.
