Overview

View south from the bottom of Jetty Road. A wooden jetty with railings and an open section at right angles at end, with people sitting fishing. A lady in a long dark outfit and light hat, three small girls and a dog are near the front. Notices attached to electricity pole [MUNICIPALITY OF CLAREMONT/ NOTICE / BATHING NEAR JETTY/ indecipherable/ BATHING WITHOUT COSTUME /indecipherable / PENALTY /indecipherable] At beginning of end section are 2 poles with finials,and arch supporting central light bracket. Yachts sailing on the river, one close to jetty with unusual sail and [STORM QUEEN] on rear. Wooded hillside in background with a house at the top of rise and two boatsheds on river's edge.
