1926Six rows of boys and girls, mainly in dark uniforms, in front of building with lower wooden section and windows above. Two sections in small panes of glass. On the right side is a picket fence. Mavis Dodd in second row on left.
Opened on 1905-09-04 as the North Claremont State School. Renamed Swanbourne in 1922. On the 26th November 2001, 292 students moved from from the 1.4ha. site between Derby & Devon Roads to a new 6 ha.site in Narla Road next to Swanbourne High School.
