Opened on 4/9/1905 as the North Claremont State School. Renamed swanbourne in 1922. 26 November 2001, 292 students moved from from the 1.4ha. site between Derby & Devon Roads to a new 6 ha.site in Narla Road next to Swanbourne High School.
