Oliver Family Tennis Party
c. 1905Group of tennis players having tea on the lawn. One man lying on the lawn with two young children, two women sitting on the lawn, two on chairs and one woman and two men standing beside a table with lace cloth and a tiered cake stand. The men are in light coloured trousers and shirts, the women in long light coloured frocks or skirts and blouses and large hats. A light coloured hat is on the lawn in front of the group. In the background is a wooden garden seat in front of a close picket fence with high frame work for the tennis fence and large trees behind that.
William Percival Oliver Married Amanda Ida (known as Ida) Schruth 1907. Took over father's tailoring business in partnership with brother, Bert.
