BLACKER, Kevin P.

Kevin provided this photograph from a scan of a hardcopy photograph. He is pictured wearing his MGGC Captain's blazer.

In a personal communication from Kevin in 2023 he recalled the following (paraphrased from Kevin’s words):

'The re-grassing of the fairways (with winter green couch) in 1985-86 was a pivotal point for the club. I was a strong advocate for this change and recall speaking at a meeting of about 200 members at 11:30pm one night. If this did not happen MGGC would have had kikuyu fairways.'
