BLACKER, Cynthia

The first picture shows Cynthia with husband Kevin.

In 1988 Cynthia and Kevin Blacker were the first and only (up to 2023) husband and wife Captains to concurrently hold office. Kevin’s personal comment on this fact was that this created ‘… plenty of bedside reading of Golf Rulings and debates …’.

The second picture shows Cynthia holding the Megan Holmes Trophy after her win in 1983.
