Australian Inspection Service (A.I.S.) cloth labels
Strip of Australian Inspection Service (A.I.S.) cloth labels. These would have been attached to items to show that they were of acceptable quality and met safety standards.
The fabric is cream in colour and the letters 'A.I.S.' are printed in black and contained within a black border.
Part of a larger grouping relating to the Commonwealth Government Explosives Factory in Maribyrnong, Victoria.
