c. 1920Watercolour on paper by Brenda Holland is one of four portraits illustrating well-known Albany First Nations People. Shown in full face, head and shoulders, Ann has dark curly hair parted in the centre and is smoking a pipe. She is wearing a dark coat with a turned-back collar and a single button near the collar. The work is titled by the artist Train Ann and uses the same brown, grey and ochre palette as the other portraits in the series.
