1910A sepia photograph on a green cardboard mount of a group of men and boys standing in front of three different types of horse drawn carriages. In the background are two tin sheds. In the wagon on the left is a man and a woman and material on the back of the sulky, this sulky has two horses hitched to it. The sulky in the middle has a hood and the sulky on the right has padded seats and backrest and lights on both sides. The men and boys in front of the middle carriage appear to be the workers, there are two men on the right are dressed in suits.
The sheds were situated on the corner of Clive Street and Amherst Street, Katanning.

At the bottom of the photograph in white print is 'MOURITZ BROS, KATANNING'S LEADING "COACHBUILDERS" 22-10-10'.
Mouritz Bros were coach buiders at Mount Barker and shifted to Katanning and worked at the Clive Street sheds. It later became a car sales and repair firm Gare and Mouritz and had a workshop and showrooms in Clive Street east. (2000 Wesfarmers).
