Historical information

Henry White was the first European settler in the Yanchep National Park area and built his home there in 1901. He was instrumental in getting the Yanchep caves opened to the public. He was also appointed Honorary Caretaker of the caves and fulfilled this role from 1903 to 1909 and again in the 1920s.
