Camel nose pegs

Overview

A collection of camel nose pegs of various woods, some machine and some handmade.

Historical information

Nose pegs are clever devices for leading several camels in 'a string', tying each to the animal in front. To avoid injury a length of light string was inserted into the line so that it would break easily.
