PHOTOGRAPH: OLD CHAPEL AT CATHERINE MCAULEY FAMILY CENTRE, SUBIACO, CIRCA 1960
1960The black and white copy photo shows side view of the chapel, built 1893, with four arched windows with stained glass features. The building is T-shaped and has a steep gabled roof with decorative crosses at either end of the transept. There is a rose garden at the side of the building. The chapel is situated in the grounds of the original Benedictine Monastery (c.1859) which was demolished in 1979. Battye Library no. '53389 P' is printed on top right hand corner of photo.
